UPDATE: Glasgow date added – 17th November at Audio, tickets £10 from Tickets Scotland (and possibly on the door). Annoyingly I only found out on the 16th and I’m now booked up elsewhere!
Sorry for the late notice on this one, but Bob should be well worth seeing. Shame he’s not playing Glasgow as I would be front and centre with the wife for that one! Next time, Bob… next time…
After six albums of original music by the colourful Outlaw Country singer Bob Wayne, the summer of 2015 saw him offer his take on some of the world’s biggest hits….with no genre boundaries.
Although Johnny Cash’s highly successful acoustic American Recordings series of releases planted the seed for recording an album of covers, Bob chose to employ a full band for Hits The Hits, while his song choices ran the gamut from stone-cold classic rock cuts such as “Sympathy For The Devil”, “Rock And Roll”, “I Shot The Sheriff” and “Sweet Child O’Mine”, right up to recent pop hits such as “Crazy”, “Disturbia”, “Skyfall” and an outstanding take on “All About That Bass”.
A video for All About That Bass can be seen below and our review of the album is this-a-way.
