New Band of the Day: Insomnium

I first encountered this bunch opening for Paradise Lost at King Tut’s last year. They’re branded as “melodic death metal” and that pretty much sums them up. Good live and, having been impressed enough by them to get hold of their recorded stuff, very good in the studio too.

In addition, they’re touring in April/May opening for Moonspell. Only one UK date, though (boo).
