Magnum announce “up close” London show

Magnum - Sacred Blood Divine LiesMagnum, one of the most prolific British rock bands of all time, have announced a brand new London show in support of their 18th studio album Sacred Blood “Divine” Lies.

The band, formed in Birmingham in 1972, had notable successes in their early years, including 1982 album Chasing the Dragon which spawned live favourites “Soldier of The Line”, “Sacred Hour” and “The Spirit”.

Magnum split in 1995, however in 2001 they reformed with founding members Tony Clarkin (songwriter and guitarist) and Bob Catley (vocals), and went on to release seven albums, including 2014’s Escape from the Shadow Garden which reached number 2 in the UK Rock & Metal Chart, as well as number 4 in the UK Indie Charts.

The band have particularly built a following in Europe, having had commercial success in Germany & Sweden, and regularly play sold out shows touring across the continent.

With the current line-up a five piece, incorporating Mark Stanway on Keyboards, Bassist Al Barrow and Drummer Harry James, the band are now set to bring their own brand of hard rock to London which has seen them become much-celebrated stalwarts of the genre in the UK for 50 years.
