KatieOrchestral art-rockers The Red Paintings stopped off at The Borderline in London on 12 November as part of their world tour to promote their debut album The Revolution Is Never Coming.

The multi-media performance included painted women, mask-clad nymphs moving around within the audience, and some fantastic costumes worn by the band.

Lead vocalist and songwriter Trash McSweeney gave a commanding performance on lead guitar, and was accompanied by an all-female line-up on violin, bass guitar and drums.

Mixing performance art with music, their show is definitely worth going to see when they are in your area. Tour dates can be found here:

Support came from alternative dance-pop duo Them & Us, and electro-punk-rock four-piece Stereo Juggernaut.
