The band, fronted by the energetic Ana Nowosielska, are cementing their place amongst the elite. Charismatic and humble, their magic is infused with a certain originality. And on the 1st of August 2015, Glasgow were in for a treat, a show drenched in evocativeness and atmosphere.

The Glasgow Garage G2 is a small venue that packs a punch. It’s the underground sister to a prominent nightclub that has housed so many colossal acts. And on a warm night, Altered Sky took the G2 by storm, mastering their music as they bounced around the stage. The atmosphere electric, the sound ever so glorious, and the energy contagious.

As the venue began to fill up, main support act Sleeping With Shadows, dazzled with their guitar parts and relentless movement. Their sound a little different from Altered Sky’s, they rattled through songs that did get the crowd moving and taking notice. They played well and showed that they’re not stumbling but rising. Time went by and the audience were becoming rowdy, bellowing out the name of the main act. Altered Sky were backstage and probably could hear every sound, every fan.

The smoke filled the room. The excitement reached a whole new level, dreams were made. Altered Sky donned the stage and their infatuated fan-base went berserk. The show was ultimately thrown into a state of brilliant showmanship and quick fired music, the set was golden. The band played their hearts out. Songs old and new were generated. These included “Where I Belong”, “Apple Tree”, “I Know You Know”, and the new single “Bury It All”.

Firecracker Ana showed her natural flair. Her voice truly remarkable and the stage presence of the whole band was memorable. They showed that they’re going to be stars of the scene, a band who are deeply ingrained in what they do. They’ve showcased that they are competent live and definitely competent when it comes to recording.

They lit the stage, and they’ve lit the path that leads to a glittering journey.
