Graveyard formed back in 2006 in Gothenburg, Sweden. In September 2015 the band released their new album with a range of hard and rock and blues-rock influences.
Throughout the album is a mixture of blues rock and hard rock, which blend together in perfect harmony, with amazing heavy riffs and vocals that fit perfectly with the drums. The first song on the album “Magnetic Shunk” has a great combination of groovy riffs and lyrics that are incredibly catchy.
The sixth song on the album “Too Much Is Not Enough” is a song with definitive blues and rock influences with slow, heavy riffs and a mixture of both male and female vocals. This all fits perfectly together and with the album as a whole.
Throughout the album can be heard heavy beautiful bass riffs and parts of the album even have the influence of Motorhead. For instance, in the song “From a Hole in the Wall” where the riffs and vocals have influences of Lemmy & Co., but still keeps to the band’s blues and rock influences.
Another track on the album, “Hard Headed”, is a further example of a classic Graveyard song that combines blues-rock and rock without fault and in perfect unison. This album is another great one by the Swedish band, and could be described as a fine piece of musical art.
