Review: Party Cannon – Partied in Half

Party Cannon - Partied in HalfOriginally released as a 3-track EP on CD-R through Autopsy Records, this new version of Partied in Half includes the Party Cannon’s 3-track demo from 2012 as well.

It’s a very silly, very heavy death metal album along the lines of A.C. (I can’t put the full name in as my work filter will then stop me editing the page…) with daft titles, but without holding back on the extreme nature of the music.

Partied in Half is ideal when someone insists you put on some “party music” and you’d rather smash each of your own knuckles with a clawhammer than dig out that ageing copy of “Agadoo”. After all, this is party music. It’s in the title and the cover has tinsel and stuff on it.

Check out the sample below, and if such merry madness appeals you can purchase the album from Gorehouse’s bandcamp page or direct from their website.
