Steelhouse Festival 2018 weekend tickets sell out, limited day tickets

The 8th consecutive Steelhouse Festival, which will take place over the weekend of the 27th – 29th of July 2018, is delighted to announce the festival has sold out of weekend tickets and camping. Only a limited quantity of day tickets are left.

This is the first time the festival has sold out in advance and this year’s will be the largest one in its history with many enhancements to the site. Plans are already in place for Steelhouse to return next year with an increased capacity.

Promoters Mikey Evans and Max Rhead said:

To anyone who has ever bought a ticket, thank you, you are the festival. Getting to a situation where we are announcing a weekend and camping sellout pre-event is an overwhelming thing for us and a huge milestone in Steelhouse Festival history. We persuaded a few hundred people show up to the first one in 2011 and now we’re welcoming rock fans from the USA, Germany, Finland, Japan, Australia and even Aberdare! Diolch!

Once again Steelhouse Festival have put together a killer line-up.  With co-headliner Myles Kennedy joining Glenn Hughes and the likes of Black Star Riders, The Wildhearts, Dan Reed Network, Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, The Quireboys, King King, Stone Broken and many more, 2018 is going to be a true spectacular!

With its unique mountaintop setting on the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons, this family-friendly great value event has built up a true following and a real heritage of its own over seven successful years. Previous performers at The Steelhouse Festival have included Thunder, The Darkness, UFO, Europe, Rival Sons, Saxon, Anvil, Michael Schenker, and Skindred. 2018’s event will include a larger stage, an official Friday night, more glamping and an official signing tent sponsored by our media partner Planet Rock where the fans will get to meet a selection of musicians rocking the mountain in July.

Our recent preview details a number of improvements Steelhouse have made this year to the festival’s infrastructure (namely the drive up the mountain) as well as a number of highlights from this year’s simply tremendous line up!
