Metal 2 The Masses is well under way and coming your way once again for Heat 3 Coventry! Heat 2 winners Temple Black and runners up Barbikan will join Pelugion and Abandoned Life in the Semi Finals. Heat 3, however, takes place this Thursday (the 9th of February) at The Arches Venue, Coventry. With Metal 2 the masses 2017 looking to be the biggest and most expansive to date, hitting more regions than ever before, there are incredible opportunities for any band that are looking to take themselves to the next level and earn a shot at Bloodstock Open Air.

When The Wolf Comes Home – Coventry-based post-hardcore metallers.
Oily Toys, the “obnoxiously heavy slow doom rockers” also of Coventry.
Wave, a duo half from Birmingham, half from Coventry, playing “a bit of metal, a bit of punk… and the tiniest bit of Taylor Swift”. (Their words not mine!)
Adda-Nari and their dark, intense post-metal from Coventry
The stakes are high here with prizes that even Satan would blush at, The Arches is in for a pounding. The bands themselves will be giving everything they have to secure not only the main prize of playing the UK’s number one metal festival, Bloodstock Open Air, but also a whole host of other guaranteed gigs and prizes.
These prizes include: recording and merchandise discounts; a host of guaranteed gigs; a photoshoot, studio recording time; PR and booking agent representation to name but a few.
