Another festival inhabiting our fine shores is Bearded Theory which takes place at Catton Hall (the same location as Bloodstock) each Spring. While the line-up is a little more eclectic than their venue brethren, the majority of acts fall well within our rocking remit. Check out the bands they’ve announced already.
Running from Thursday 25th to Sunday 28th of May, you can catch Skunk Anansie and Slaves co-headlining the Friday.
The Woodland stage will see CAST, Foy Vance, Reverent & The Makers, Tess of the Circle, Smiley & The Underclass, Roving Crowd, Kissmet, Defekters, Maia, Pronghorn and Wheatus making appearances over the long weekend.
Saturday and Sunday headliners are yet to be announced, but on the strength of the bands already listed we can be fairly confident they’ll be top notch.
Bearded Theory is a family friendly festival as well, so don’t forget to bring the kids! They’ve even been shortlisted as Best Family Festival in this year’s UK Festival awards… along with Best Small Festival, Best Toilets and The Extra Festival Activity Award.
New additions planned for Bearded Theory 2017 include a Cinema Tent, an expanded line-up of music on the Thursday and a new late night disco in the Maui Waui tent.
