Doom Over London VI – more bands announced

Doom Over London 192Doom Over London are excited to inform you of the second tranche of bands to join the, already announced, acts Sardonis, Bathsheba, Autumnal, Officium Triste and Malthusian.

Formed in 1992, Moonspell have progreessed from black metal beginnings to a unique gothic / metal hybrid which has earned the band a rabid and loyal fanbase the world over.

In the words of frontman and “lead sinner “Fernando Ribeiro “We are excited as hell to take London over again, to the verge of extinction and the doom’n’darkness emotions and creatures who populate our music,” says Fernando himself. “Come and check in your own darkness and help us bring true DOOM OVER LONDON. See you there, the pack is gathering.”

Black Moth

An unearthly concoction of 60s garage rock, head-spinning psychedelia and ‘1991-The-Year-Punk-Broke’ grit, Black Moth rose from the Leeds underground scene, taking their trash culture fixations and their love for Stooges squalor and Sabbath sulphur to create an onslaught of monumental riff sorcery and serpentine grace.

A relentless touring force, Black Moth have played at festivals such as Leeds, Reading and Download, as well as two European tours and a massive 15-date UK headline run not to mention stamping their live authority on support slots with Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Red Fang, Turbowolf and Truckfighters to name just a few.

Also announced are Brighton based filthpounders Sea Bastard, northern gut-manglers Coltsblood, Gallic doom/death veterans Ataraxie, Croydon’s titans of bong-mangled heaviosity Slabdragger and purveyors of avalanche-inducing funereal doom, Eye Of Solitude.

Hosted in the North London enclave of Tufnell Park and taking over the Dome, Boston Music Room and Aces & Eights, Doom Over London 2016 will provide a stellar line up across the spectrum of underground doom, experimental gloom and occult infused metal. Taking place between the 25th and 27th March, expect to see some fantastic performances from acts that vary from the gurgling underbelly of the modern cult scene to those who helped laid the foundation of the metal underground as we know it.

We are very, very proud to announce our opening handful of bands, who are amongst 40 odd groups that will appear at next years event. Expect additional attractions, featured acts and details on featured food and drink to come.

Very limited Super early bird weekend tickets are on sale now priced at £29.50 at THIS LOCATION.
