Sepultura on “UK” tour that isn’t a UK tour

Sepultura - need an atlas

Sepultura – need an atlas

Another band being promoted by people who’d probably manage to fail even the crappy new Geography syllabus being forced onto schools in Scotland. I’m sure even pupils of the new National 5 course, part of the Curriculum for Excrement, will be aware that the UK (at present and until Alex “ego” Salmond gets his way) is made up of four nations.

These are England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Sepultura’s tour dates for “the UK” in February 2014 are below:

1st  PAVILLION, WEYMOUTH
2nd THE LIBRARY, BIRMINGHAM
3rd  THE FLEECE, BRISTOL
4th THE ACADEMY, DUBLIN
5th THE RITZ, MANCHESTER
6th O2 ACADEMY, LONDON ISLINGTON

Points to note for the staff at Nuclear Blast:

1) Dublin is the Republic of Ireland. They aren’t part of the UK and suggesting as such to the locals is not the best of ideas

2) All other dates are in England which is (without getting all math-y and statistical) one quarter of the UK. You may as well call it a European tour as they’re all in Europe.
