Nashville? Yes. Country music? Not even close. Pure, powerful, and undeniably metallic, Dark Hound have upped the ante with forthcoming album Dawning, which will be released January 19, 2018.

Stark Denial

Finally, years after releasing their debut EP, Mumbai-based black metallers Stark Denial are set to unleash their highly anticipated full length album via the sub-label of Transcending Obscurity Records.

Stark Denial have conjured up a vicious album of steely black metal in the vein of Destroyer 666, Gorgoroth, (early) Mayhem, Immortal and Nargaroth. Constantly reinventing themselves, they’ve found the perfect balance in the music of their debut full length Covenant of Black which sees their ferocity tempered with memorable songwriting. Every song on the album has its own character while remaining consistent with the overall sound. Fans of black metal that is relentless, catchy and superbly structured will find a new favourite in this band.

Covenant of Black is out on March 25th.

Dead Alone

The German dark/death-metal band Dead Alone will return with their fifth studio album in 2018. The new work is called Serum and will be released on February 23rd via Reaper Entertainment.

On this masterpiece, the musicians remained true to atmospheric death metal and managed to develop their unique trademarks at the same time. Serum is the band’s most innovative, complex and catching album yet.
