Vintage TV’s Friday Night Rock Show returns

vintage-tv-logoFollowing on from the popular launch of The Friday Night Rock Show earlier this year, Vintage TV is delighted to announce 7 new episodes to air this autumn, continuing season 1. The fun kicks off on Friday 7th October, 10pm.

Vintage TV can be found on: Sky 369 / Virgin 343 / Freeview HD 82 / Freesat 505 / BT 82 / TalkTalk 82

Vintage TV’s The Friday Night Rock Show was inspired by the landmark radio series of the same name which kept it rock solid at the end of the week with the loud, the raw and the raucous. Vintage TV is thrilled to continue to uphold this fine broadcasting tradition.

Nicky Horne is back behind the helm, putting his seasoned spin on proceedings. Nicky was jubilant to be part of the show’s launch earlier this year and is thrilled to be back.

I’m really excited about the all new Friday Night Rock shows that are coming up on Vintage TV. We are really pushing out the boat to bring rock fans the best of the classic and the best of the brand new. Look out for an exceptional female duo Deap Vally, there’s a new band from Birmingham, Broken Witt Rebels who you have to see, and for the iconic rock names we meet Ian Gillan and Kenney Jones.

The first couple of shows line up as follows:

The Friday Night Rock Show #7 – 7th October 2016
Fresh from the studio and into your Friday Night Rock nights, with storming sets from two great bands Buffalo Summer and Monster Truck, chat with Mott the Hoople’s Mick Ralphs, and incredible hologram footage of James Dio.

The Friday Night Rock Show #8 – 14th October 2016
Expect hard blues-rock with soulful vocals from Swedish band Blues Pills, Monster Truck will be peforming and top chat from Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan on this week’s show.

The Friday Night Rock Show #9 – 21st October 2016
In this week’s heady mix is the Bourbon-fuelled swamp and southern rock of Nashville’s The Delta Saints, Buffalo Summer will be performing and an interview with British blues rock guitarist and singer Joanne Shaw Taylor.
