Another bunch of upcoming releases to make a note of on your calendar.
Berserkers’s new album will be released in September. The band was founded in 2009 and from the beginning, their musical writing aimed to produce a modern, hard rock oriented style. The use of keyboards marks their inspiration from the rock of the 70’s.
With this new album, Lock & Load, Berserkers members have shown a desire to produce a more advanced musical result, both in terms of composition and level of quality of the sound production, which is fully operated by Arthur Orsini, the band’s guitarist.
It takes you into a warm world at the border between western movies and the 80’s. The kind of hard rock they don’t make any more that smells like sand and dust!
The wonderfully-named Italian epic metal band Icy Steel have signed a new deal with Pure Steel Promotions. The first album as part of this deal, Through the Ashes, will be out on September 23rd.
Sticking with Pure Steel, they’ll also be releasing the new Attick Demons album on August 12th. Let’s Raise Hell comes in a celebratory year for the band – it’s their 20th anniversary!
Being in the game for years of successful music, Attick Demons will manage to surprise and to delight with their album Let’s Raise Hell. Magic twin guitar leads, pumping and impulsive bass parts, and a voice that naturally evokes that of Bruce Dickinson are combined to offer nine overwhelmingly powerful songs that are in a class of their own. While remaining astonishingly original, Attick Demons managed to offer an album that captures the spirit of such classics as Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.
1. The Circle Of Light
3. Glory to Gawain
4. Dark Angel
5. The Endless Game
6. Let’s Raise Hell
In December of 2015, three bands with three different stylistic approaches to aggressive music, but a common outlook on the world, came together to create a collective piece of work – The Depression Sessions. Those three bands were Thy Art is Murder, The Acacia Strain and Fit For An Autopsy and on August 12th, Nuclear Blast Entertainment will release the results of this experience both digitally and on limited edition vinyl.
In regards to this achievement, the parties involved have released the following collective statement:
After months of heavy touring, a cold NJ background set the tone for a dark, honest, and moody record. We gave some nods to the bands we grew up listening to and took some new risks in our own songs. More importantly, this record is a statement of community. We live in a very competitive and selfish world, and this is proof it doesn’t have to be like that. It’s the friendships you make along the way, between the artists you share the stage with, that you’ll take away with you long after the shows are over. Support your peers; the whole music scene will be better for it. Thank you for listening.
Brisbane alternative rock duo The Comfort are releasing the first taste of their sophomore EP Love with single “Everstone” delivering more intense passion than any five piece and to celebrate they’ll be touring across the east coast of Australia.
“Everstone” is the band’s first release since losing drummer Lewis Stiles, but the scope of the sound has only increased with the duo’s intense, rough harmonies detailing the soul that goes into each song. Instrumentally the single leads with heart pounding percussion, punching melodic guitar and driving bass that powers through every second of the ballad.
“Everstone” is now available in Spotify and pre-orders for EP Love began yesterday on iTunes, with release scheduled for September 16th.
