We’ve featured Spain’s Eldorado a few times now, going back as far as a Band of the Day article three years ago. After the success they had with their last album, pretty much doubling their hoped-for donations, they’re doing it again.
Crowdfunding started for the already-written album recently and as I type, they have raised 93.28% of the funds needed for the basics. That’s €5597 of €6000! The album’s title, Fifth Sun is inspired by the myth of the Aztec eras where each is governed by a sun that marks the life and events. This album is, for Eldorado, a change of cycle and a beginning walking under the influence and sounds of the “Fifth Sun”.
