Dommin release cover of Type O Negative’s “Love You to Death”, sign to Eternal Sound Records

RossDommin - Love You to DeathUS goth rockers Dommin are pleased to share a brand new cover, of the Type O Negative classic song “Love You To Death”. Taken from Type O Negative’s legendary October Rust album, released in 1996, fans can hear Dommin’s unique take on the track at: https://youtu.be/vbgr8z5chaw.

Frontman Kristofer Dommin, a long-time Type O Negative fan, comments:

It was a challenge to not make it sound like a demo version of the same song since our approach in Dommin is somewhat similiar to Type O, in the sense of distorted guitars, etc. It was pointless to try to out-heavy a heavier band. So mainly I just focused on the sheer beauty of the song, while trying to retain the epic factor.

Fans can also nab free downloads of two additional cover tracks on the site, of Lana Del Ray’s “Cola” and Duran Duran’s “Save A Prayer”. These two tracks were chosen for the band to cover by two fans, via PledgeMusic. Alternatively, hear both tracks on YouTube.

We would like to welcome a new member to our family. Eternal Sound Records are very proud to announce the signing of Dommin, alternative rock band from Los Angeles! They are truly one of the most talented bands in the U.S. rock scene! This deal will physically distribute their new album Rise all over Europe including the UK in early 2016. We are very excited to bring this beautiful masterpiece to Europe!
