United States Dual Violin-Fronted Folk Metal band Isenmor will self-release their debut EP entitled Land of the Setting Sun this June 21st. Combining intricate violin passages with savage guitar riffs and multi-part vocal harmonies, Isenmor tell tales of battle, drink, sorrow and adventure on their debut effort. Drawing their lyrical inspirations directly from the original sources preserved since the dark ages and encapsulating their influences from Folk Metal legends Eluveitie, Heidevolk, Týr, & Ensiferum across the five tracks that comprise Land of the Setting Sun. The EP features artwork from Knud Baade & John Charles Dollman, cover art and track listing can be seen below.
Land of the Setting Sun is available now for preorder on the band’s bandcamp page as a digital download, compact disc or in a special package including CD, T-shirt and Isenmor logo pint glass. All three versions include bonus tracks.
