Just after their performance on the Jäger Stage on the Friday at Bloodstock, we had a quick chat with the entirety of Hung Daddy about their previous visits to the festival as punters and any bands they were looking forward to seeing. Read on for the full interview…
As performers yes, but we’ve been coming here for about 10 years now and it’s great. There’s so many great memories from across the years and to be able to play the festival was a dream come true. The crowd was awesome for our performance and the Jäger Stage was just the perfect size as well.
Are there any bands you’re looking forward to seeing?
We were looking forward to seeing Decapitated but we clashed with them, sadly. The rest of the main bill though we’re looking forward to catching. In particular Testament and Blind Guardian.
If you guys were in charge of Bloodstock, what changes would you make?
If anything, probably a few more car parking signs on the way in. Aside from that, it’s perfect.
What bands would you book for the festival if you were in charge?
Slayer, Nickleback, Nevermore and maybe Judas Priest.
What are your plans for the next few months?
We’re filming a video for one of our songs next weekend and also playing gigs here and there. We’re also hoping to release a second EP sometime soon. We’ll be writing some more music soon and the hoping to play some of it soon.
