Interview: Alex and Felix of Brutai

Brutai - Relapse

[avatar user=”James” size=”50″ align=”left” /]Brutai are opening for Centiment on their current “Retro Gamer” tour. Melodic yet heavy, and based in London, Brutai have been together as a band since 2008 and are – like many new acts – working their backsides off to get heard and find themselves an audience. So basically the type of band that this site was originally set up to help promote.

Alex and Felix took time out before their Glasgow date to talk to James and Sean about life on the road, and what the band’s plans are and where they all came from. Also a little about their musical heritage… and I’m not talking about their influences. You’ll know what I mean when you get to that bit in the interview! Also, early into the tour, but who’s winning on the Sega competition set up by Centiment?

And probably more important – how’s the upcoming album progressing?

The gig review will be up shortly, along with a little exclusive live footage from the gig. Many thanks to the guys for their time, and to their manager Lulu (no, not that one) for organising everything for us.
