Interview: Suburban Legends in Glasgow

Suburban Legends - Glasgow Broadcast 1Vincent, Brian and Brian chillaxed with me backstage before their appearance at the low-ceilinged (but very awesome) Broadcast venue in Glasgow last week [gig review here, with pics]. The band were a little over halfway through a fairly extensive trip around the British Isles.

We discussed the band’s beginnings, how they came to play ska/punk and what led them to add the famed choreography to their stage show.

In amongst all the chit-chat, we also cleared up a Wikipedia entry which required a citation. Would you believe they played over 1000 shows in a single year? Listen around the 13-minute mark for the answer.

If you loved the new Disney covers EP, Dreams Aren’t Real, But These Songs Are, Vol. 1, find out how you can help ensure a Volume 2! And what songs could be on it…?

Vince takes time out to give a brief film review of a Disney documentary you’ve probably not seen, but should.

And, finally, the band talk about their next original release…

As ever, feel free to download, spread or transcribe the file. If you do publish it elsewhere, just give me credit and a link back!
