Huntress: interview with Blake Meahl

Just before their Glasgow gig last week, I had a few words with guitarist and founder member of Huntress, Blake Meahl.

We discussed the beginning of the band, how he met Ian Alden and Jill Janus, and how Huntress began. Also, why Ian is now on bass with the newest member of the band, Anthony Crocamo, taking the second guitar spot.

And what’s coming next for Huntress? A new album… this year? It’s in their plans! Listen to the interview below for more! Apologies for a little “wind” noise (not farting…) on the recording. Strange, as it was indoors.

As ever with my audio interviews, download it and treat it as a podcast or – by all means – transcribe it for your own site. All I ask is a link back here and some credit; and let me know so I can give you a link in return.
