Band of the Day: Twin Berlin

Twin Berlin - SleazebrainGiving the heavier side of things the day off to recover from its hangover, today’s band of the day is a grungy, garage, indy rock kind of offering.

I actually don’t know too much about them. Despite a fair online presence, there’s little in the way of a bio. Judging from tour dates (NY, CT, MA), I’d assume they’re based around the north east of the United States.

What I do know is that they’re a three-piece (Matt Lopez – Vocals & Guitar, James Janocha – Drums, Sean O’Neil – Bass) and that they’ve just released their first full-length offering – Sleazebrain. This follows on from an earlier EP called There Goes My Virtue.

I’ve picked a decent enough sample from the album and plonked it below for your listening pleasure. Sleazebrain can be downloaded via a “name your price” link on their bandcamp page. Can’t say fairer than that!
