Brief History: The Library itself is a Grade 1 listed building and if you have ever had the chance to go you will realize why. It’s a beautiful building which encourages a beautiful atmosphere. Although the building has stood for over 100 years it has only in the past 8 years or so established itself as a gig venue, hosting only bands of the highest quality. The bar itself is often the preferred after show pub for gigs at the nearby Leeds University also.
Personal Experience: Everything about the Library is great. The actual building itself is awe inspiring. The gig venue is great, gets a lot of people in and generally has a real feel good attitude. The line ups are second to none. Another venue I had the pleasure of playing and one that has always stood out for me.
Notable Acts Played Here: Alt J, Vessels, Allusondrugs
Highlights Coming Up: Dusk 27th Jan, Bring The Wolf 3rd March
