Aoife “Wolfie” Le Roux

Aiofe profileI have been into rock and metal for as long as I can remember. I really got heavily into metal after I saw Alice Cooper, and when I was 14 my dad got me into bands like Dimmu Borgir, and from there I was hooked on Black Metal. I love playing on my bass guitar and rocking out to Watain.

From: Originally Ireland, now living in South-East London

Preferred genres: Black, Death, Doom as well as other genres such as Power and folk

5 favorite bands: That is a tricky one because I have so many bands I like, but I think they would have to be Watain, Dissection, Ghost, Forefather and Taake

5 favorite albums: Again this is not an easy one but I would go for Ours is the Kingdom by Forefather, Reinkaos by Dissection, Lawless Darkness by Watain, In Death of Steve Sylvester by Death S.S, and Buried in Time by Mortuary Drape

Most embarrassing album I own: Probably Lordi’s The Arockalypse. I went through a phase where I loved Lordi, and eventually I got bored of the album but for some reason I still have it

Favourite venues: The O2 Academy in Islington, The Garage and The Underworld in Camden

First gig: Alice Cooper

Favorite gig: That has got to be Incineration Fest (2014)

Favourite drink: Pint of Guinness

Favorite food: Probably chips
