Now Note:

I recently found out that the band have split for various reasons. The information on the page is therefore current up until this happened and all their tapes and CDs are now vastly precious collectors' items. Mark is concentrating on photography and has done sleevework for other local bands such as The Reign. Ed and Gary are part of a band called Arch Stanton (?), and Martin now drums for Tangleweed. Thanks to Matt Jones (who's on the same course at College as Mark!) for sending me the news. The rest of the page is still in present tense because I'm too lazy to change it yet.

This band hail from Newcastle in the UK. Originally a 5-piece, they are currently down to 4 members and have decided to stick with a single guitarist (more cash per person...)
They are unsigned (surprisingly), but play live quite often and are taking their musical career very seriously. They have won Radio 1's Rock War once (in 1993 - they found this out after they'd played a wonderful gig at Halifax!), and were runners-up the year before. Their music is somewhere around the Skid Row/Little Angels end of the scale, but they have a sound all of their own. Their tracks vary from ballads (Rise & Fall) to some nice heavy, gritty stuff (Voice of Reason).

The band are, currently:
Vocals/tambourine: Mark Savage
Lead/Rhythm Guitar: Ed Box
Bass: Gary Foalle
Drums: Martin Douglas

At present, they're sitting waiting for Geffen to cough up some cash so they can record some more material. They've been approached by several labels who are also formthcoming, but haven't signed anything definite - Geffen just seemed like the best of the bunch but seem to have forgotten about the agreement. If no cheque arrives soon, they're going to work their way down the rest of the list!
